Winter is a season of celebration. There’s something magical about this time of year with the cold weather, the snow, and all of the holidays that make it such a special and enchanting time. Having a wedding during the winter season gives you so many opportunities to incorporate the marvelous elements from the holidays into your wedding.

1. Whitefish, Montana, USA

This quaint, small town in northwest Montana is a great place to have a winter wedding. The downtown transforms into a beautiful winter wonderland where there’s always a stunning view of a mountain. You and your wedding party can also enjoy the scenery of Whitefish lake for some amazing pictures.

2. Midway, Utah, USA

This city is home to the Ice Castles frozen attraction. Every winter, professional ice artists use ice and icicles to create this breathtaking experience. Just imagine how royally beautiful your wedding will look in this landscape.

3. Megève, France

This village is located in the Alps of southeastern France, in the Mont Blanc massif. Getting married on a mountain can present some challenges but there’s no denying that this majestic location will give you a unique and beautiful wedding experience.

4. Salzburg, Austria

The famous “City of Mozart” is a historic city retains a very rich medieval and baroque in its architecture which makes you feel like you’re taking a step back in time. It is at the northern bound of the Alps and has some of the most amazing views of the mountains.

5. Budir, Iceland

Budir is a small hamlet in the western region of Iceland. This idyllic location is the perfect place to have an intimate wedding surrounded by nature.

6. Niagra on the Lake, Canada

This town is located near the south shore of Lake Ontario at the mouth of the Niagara River. Its Victorian architecture makes it a charming place to have a beautiful wedding.
