Cut the stems 1-2 inches and immediately place in a deep vase with water.
Remove any foliage that would fall below the waterline. Leaves below the waterline may cause bacteria to form, shortening the life of your flowers.
Display your fresh cut arrangement in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight and drafts. Mums are thirsty flowers requiring the vase to be filled with plenty of water, at all times.
