Carnations may appear to be dehydrated and thirsty upon arrival.
Carnations arrive in a tight bloom cut state. This appearance will change once they have hydrated. Cut stems 1 inch at a 45-degree angle and arrange them in a vase with the flower food. Place your arrangement in a cool room away from direct sunlight.
To prolong the life of your blooms, re-cut the stems, clean the vase and change the water every 3 days
